James (Jim) Gingerich ’66 has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya and has served in agricultural economic development for 34 years in six countries. He was awarded the 2016 Goshen College Champions of Character Award.
Solongo Gonchigsuren is a 2016 accounting graduate with a TESOL minor from Mongolia. With the help of her professors and the educational setting at GC, Solongo is not only excelling, but also dreaming big.
Reena is an environmental science major with an ecology focus who is involved in EcoPax, the Tree Care Committee and Student Senate, and is also a stage manager in the Music Center.
Goshen graduates Mark Histand '08 and Alex Caskey '10 oversaw the construction a peanut butter factory in Malawi with Project Peanut Butter, which aims to treat children with malnutrition and help the local economy.
